Hey, folks!

Welcome to our new East Coast Opry Web site. We will do our best to keep you up-to-date on the Big John Trimble radio show currently heard on WCLM 1450 AM in Richmond, Virginia, 5 to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday (listen live on the Web at wclmradio.com) and the East Coast Opry broadcast, which is a two-hour Grand Ole Opry-style show that is performed twice a month in the Central Virginia area.

We brought our East Coast Opry show to another level recently with the addition of Teenie Chanault and his band, the Country Rockers. Teenie and the band have appeared throughout the USA and several overseas tours, including the top clubs in Las Vegas, and the group had several hit records on the Stop label out of Nashville.

The other big addition to the show was Lynn Stewart, who for many years was a regular performer on the WWVA Jamboree in Wheeling, West Virginia, and other top shows around the country.

This is the first time that I have done a morning radio show since my middle son, Bradley, was a baby, and he is 39 this year. But I am having a good time, and the listenership seems to be growing each day.

Join us as we present a good mix of classic country and bluegrass music, along with CNN and Richmond-area news, sports , traffic and the ever-present “Brain Game, “ where you listeners can win prizes and we chat with many of the top Nashville and Branson recording artists on the show on a regular basis.
